The aim of this dissertation is to explore the role of the Internet in the recruitment process and to view the effects of this new method of recruitment, all across the board. This includes recruitment agencies, human resource departments in organisations, recruiting web-sites and job-seekers. In this exploratory study, a comparison is made of the on-line recruiting web-sites and the web-sites of recruitment agencies.
