Abstract

Gemini has been created using Unreal engine alongside Autodesk Maya, Blender and Adobe Photoshop.

Gemini is a first-person, action-orientated shooter. It’s in depth sci-fi setting and story will be its attraction to players. The level design and graphics provided by Unreal engine will be what sets this game apart. Its combination of software has created visually striking level design and innovation 3D characters.

The player will take control of Lynn, a doctor on board a space station orbiting a foreign planet that is over run by an unheard-of alien race. The game will be set in the future where the limits of the worlds technology far exceeds what it would be now. After losing the rest of her crew and escaping the station on a ship, she is left stranded on the surface of an alien planet, this is the setting for the tutorial level. With no experience in fighting, she must return to the space station to uncover the truth behind what has happened and discover the fate of her crew. Consumed by the guilt of leaving them behind she desperately struggles to find and help them. Can she beat back the aliens that have taken everything from her.
