Abstract
Street art in Dublin has been growing significantly over the last few years and people of all ages are beginning to take an interest in it, there are several events held throughout the year but are only really advertised by word of mouth and through a Facebook page which has a small following.
My goal for this application is to create an online tour on mobile for people to visit various pieces of street art around Dublin and take their own photographs of the art.
There will be a homepage where the best pieces will be showcased or a particularly nice photograph of a piece has been taken and deserves to make the homepage.
The map showing the locations of the art will be a huge part of the application as quite often people do not get a good enough experience by just seeing a picture, they will enjoy knowing the location and going to see it with their own eyes.
Often a piece of street art will be taken down by the council or another artist will paint over it, this is why photographing the pieces is important as a photo will last forever but the piece could only last a few days.
