Abstract

Industries go through trends all the time. Sales of Organic food products have soared recently. People are demanding quality and source of origin. Might the same be happening in the music industry? Music is an art, a creative endeavour that has been the preserve of talented musicians for as long as history can provide us information with. We have seen lately a huge increase in commercial pop music, often not even written by the performer. Ireland is especially creative musically and is a very small market. Irish people love music, and love Irish music, do they demand quality and source of origin?
