Abstract

The overall objective of this project is to analyse available data from Facebook website owned by “Foundation for animals Animalia” and gain the knowledge about its fans and their behaviour. The project will also cover various analysis and their results to gain knowledge which can be used in changing posts implementation manner by website admins. The findings will help in decision making process - how to increase the audience and their engagement. Knowledge about fans and their behaviours is essential from FDZ Animalia point of view, as recently Facebook became one of the sources of fundraising for foundation activities. The reconsidered way of fan page management based on historic data analysis may affect fans’ engagement, number of fans and scale of interaction. These activities may bring the revenue growth and a new homes for cats and dogs. The analysis environments are R, WEKA and Excel.
